This week in E20: England hit the World Cup quarterfinals on Saturday night, Power & Respect brings a free music festival to East Bank, padel arrives on the park, and For The Love Of Garage takes over Riverside East.
World Cup fever - England in the quarters
The knockout stages are in full swing, and it's a big week. Today (Monday 6 July) Portugal face Spain in the Round of 16. Quarterfinals follow: France vs. Morocco on Thursday 9 July, then the big one - England vs. Norway on Saturday 11 July, kick-off 10pm BST. England beat Mexico 3–2 in the last round, with Bellingham putting in a man-of-the-match performance.
If you want to watch with a crowd, the park has you covered. Screening venues include Riverside East, Here East (canalside), Hackney Bridge, Barge East, and Park Kitchen & Bar at Sadler's Wells East. Check individual venues for bookings and match-day listings — Hackney Bridge in particular requires a ticket for England games.
