Set a short auto-lock so a stolen phone locks fast.

Every pin is rounded to about 110m before storage, so the map shows a stretch of street rather than an address.
Thresholds
One to four snatches logged in the last 30 days reads as Reported. Five or more reads as Raised. Quiet means nobody has logged one in the last 30 days.
This is not a police report
Reporting here helps neighbours and gives me numbers to take to the ward panel. It does not notify the Met. Call 101 or report online for that.
Why the two counts differ
Resident reports and Home Office records measure different things and are never combined. Most street thefts are never reported to the police, and police records include incidents nobody mentioned here. Police locations are also snapped to anonymised points, which is why they are a separate strip and never appear on the map above.
CCTV is a separate request
Much of the estate is covered by CCTV, but EVH holds none of it and cannot request it. If you report to the police, they can ask Get Living Security for footage, which is one more reason the 101 call matters.
