V&A East is now open in E20

V&A East is now open, with both the Storehouse and the Museum now welcoming visitors in and around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The Storehouse is on Parkes Street, E20 3AX. The museum is at East Bank, 107 Carpenters Road, E20 2AR.

Both venues are open daily from 10am to 6pm, with late opening until 10pm on Thursdays and Saturdays. Entry is free, though some exhibitions and events carry a separate charge.

The Storehouse is billed as an access-all-areas way into the V&A collection, while the museum opens with galleries and exhibitions focused on art, design and the ideas shaping culture now.

If you're heading over this weekend, it's worth knowing the museum says there may be a queue.
