England in the semi-finals
Jude Bellingham's extra-time winner on Saturday night sealed a dramatic 2-1 comeback against Norway, sending England through to the World Cup semi-finals for the first time since Russia 2018. The opponents are Argentina — reigning World Cup champions — at Atlanta Stadium. Kick-off is Wednesday 15 July at 8pm BST.

Several local venues are showing the match. Riverside East is hosting a dedicated screening from 6pm — tickets are available via Eventbrite but the venue is expecting to sell out quickly, so book now. Hackney Bridge has already sold out. Barge East in Hackney Wick is showing the match with walk-ins welcome from 6pm.
Novuna London Athletics Meet — Saturday 18 July
The biggest one-day athletics event of the year returns to London Stadium on Saturday as part of the Wanda Diamond League series. This year's meet is on course to be the fastest-selling in the event's history, following sell-out editions featuring world-class stars including Noah Lyles, Femke Bol, and Georgia Hunter Bell. Day Rave — Saturday at Riverside East
Day Rave takes over Riverside East on Saturday 18 July from 6pm, with an open-air Caribbean party featuring Dancehall, Soca, Reggae, Bouyon, and Carnival anthems. Over 25s only. Tickets via Eventbrite — previous editions have sold out.
The Music is Black Festival rolls on
East Bank's summer-long festival continues into its fifth week. Dance nights at Sadler's Wells East run through to September, with the Queer Frequencies weekend coming up on 22–23 August. Check the QEOP website for the full programme.
Pop-up Padel — still booking

Coming up
Two big events land at the park in the next fortnight. The East Village Summer Fête returns to West Park Walk on Saturday 25 July, with live music, street food, market stalls, creative workshops, and The Big Flea Market — all free. Wing Fest takes over London Stadium from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July: the world's largest chicken wing festival, with music, competitions, and activities across three days.
