Free sessions connecting young east Londoners to the creative music industry — panels, networking and career guidance. Part of The Music is Black Festival. 3–24 September. Book via Good Growth Hub.
Music is Black: Industry Insights is a free series of sessions designed for young east Londoners who want to break into the creative and music industries. Whether you’re an aspiring artist, producer, manager or music business professional, these sessions offer a genuine route into the industry — no experience required.
The series is delivered by Good Growth Hub in partnership with The Music is Black Festival, one of East Bank’s flagship cultural programmes celebrating Black music and its global influence. Together, they bring together working professionals and emerging talent from across east London and beyond.
Each session features industry panels with working artists and producers, giving you direct access to people who have built careers in music. Alongside the panels, you’ll find structured peer networking opportunities and hands-on career guidance — practical advice on everything from releasing music independently to navigating the business side of the industry.
The series runs from 3 to 24 September 2026 at East Bank, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park — one of London’s most exciting new cultural destinations. Sessions begin from 9am; check the Good Growth Hub website for individual session times and dates.
Places are completely free. To browse sessions and secure your spot, visit goodgrowthhub.org.uk.
