Free outdoor dance takes over the Park, East Bank and Stratford Centre on Saturday 5 September. No ticket. Just turn up. Greenwich+Docklands International Festival puts it at about 1–6pm.

Walk-up, but it is a busy Saturday

Free, unticketed, Saturday 5 September, about 1–6pm. Same afternoon as East Village Dog Day (Victory Park, booking required) and West Ham v Derby at 3pm, so expect Park road closures from about noon.

What is on

The Park page names Benched by Denmark’s Uppercut Dance Theater (breakdance, capoeira and contemporary, with three benches as the set) and Fuse Theatre’s Man Down, led by Deaf choreographer Chris Fonseca, with live music. The GDIF programme also lists BUG, Garbh, KOKKON, Cicatrius, As Was Is and The Aunties, spread across outdoor sites a few minutes’ walk apart.

If you need an access route

GDIF has published audio-described and Deaf-led routes. The audio-described meet is 12:15 at Stratford station’s Westfield ticket hall. The Deaf-led route meets 12:30 outside Sadler’s Wells East.

Same day in E20

Dog Day is 11am–4pm in Victory Park. Derby kick-off is 3pm at London Stadium, which closes Westfield Avenue, Marshgate Lane, Sidings Street, Montfichet Road and Pool Street from about three hours before until three hours after. If you are walking between East Village and East Bank, give yourself extra time and follow the yellow signs.
