Dogs Fireworks nights

Fireworks nights

Here are the nights fireworks are allowed late this winter, and the two nearest displays I could find. I could not find a council, Park or Stadium display near East Village, so most of the bangs will be people’s own.

Walking on fireworks nights

  • Walk in daylight. The RSPCA says to walk your dog during daylight hours, and Dogs Trust says not to go out after dark on days you expect fireworks.

  • It is dark about half an hour after sunset, and some people start their fireworks at dusk, so I would aim to be home by sunset. That part is my suggestion, not advice from either charity.

  • The quietest walk is first thing. The law stops fireworks between 11pm and 7am, with the later cut offs on the nights below.

Advice from the RSPCA and Dogs Trust. For where to walk, see the off-lead spaces. For a vet, see vets near East Village.

Where I looked and found nothing

  • London Stadium

Only West Ham home games in November and December, and none of them mention fireworks. London Stadium events.

  • Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Nothing on the Park’s what’s on page for November or December mentions fireworks. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

  • Newham’s Royal Docks display

The council’s free display at the Royal Docks last ran in November 2019, and Newham’s events page lists no fireworks this year. Newham events.

  • Victoria Park

JustPark’s 2026 guide says the Bonfire Night display has not run since 2020 and none is planned this year. JustPark, 6 Oct 2026.

I found no 2026 display on the Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest council pages I could read. If you know of a display near E20, tell me.
