Green Spaces
East Village and the surrounding area have excellent dog-walking options:
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
560 acres of parkland that surrounds East Village - riverside paths, wetlands, and landscaped gardens. Dogs must be kept on leads throughout the park, except at Hopkins' Field (see below). Perfect for on-lead walks at any time.
View map →Hopkins' Field
The only designated off-lead area in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. A large, flat field in the north of the park, framed by the Copper Box Arena, Here East and Lee Valley VeloPark. Head north through the park from East Village.
View map →Hackney Marshes
Expansive Lee Valley marshland - wide open space ideal for longer off-lead runs well away from roads. Follow the Lea towpath north from the Olympic Park.
View map →Victoria Park
One of East London's finest parks. Dogs are welcome off-lead across most of the park - exceptions are children's play areas and sports pitches. Reachable via the Lea Valley towpath, or by bus.
