This page explains what cookies and browser storage East Village Hub uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. We also use localStorage and sessionStorage — similar technologies built into your browser — for some features.

Functional storage — no consent required

These are strictly necessary for the site to work correctly or to remember your preferences. They do not track you across sites.

Analytics cookies — consent required

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how residents use the site. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept cookies via the consent banner. They are not set by default.

We do not use analytics to identify you personally, build advertising profiles, or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

No advertising cookies

East Village Hub does not use any advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. We are not monetised through advertising.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit the site, a cookie banner will ask for your consent to analytics. You can change your choice at any time:

  • Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page — this resets your choice and re-shows the consent banner.
  • To block all cookies, use your browser's privacy settings or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.
  • To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
  • To opt out of Microsoft Clarity specifically, visit Microsoft Clarity's opt-out page.
